Job Description:
- Responsible for overseeing all organisation’s legal functions
- Provide accurate and relevant advice to the business
- Research legislative issues and statues
- Review / Draft contract and legal documents
- Manage / Engage with external legal advisors
- Co-ordinate with other departments of the Company
- Areas of Responsibility: BAU, M&A, and Fund Raising
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Law or higher and/or other degree from a reputable university
- At least 5 years of working experience in the financial sector with main responsibility in compliance and 3 years in a managerial position, responsible for compliance in a financial sector, able to communicate complex regulatory issues to employees at every level
- Knowledge of financial service, international remittance and the relevant regulatory requirements
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and communication skills
- Strong understanding of Compliance frameworks and policies in banking and financial technology
- Background experience in banking / financial services industry is preferable
- Exposure to business operations on a regional level
- Demonstrated interests in others, worked effectively as a team
- Determined and result-oriented to complete tasks and achieve goal.
